
Paul Merage
Chairman
Paul provides leadership and strategic guidance to Stoneridge Capital Partners. He also serves as the Chairman of additional Merage family organizations, including Falcon Investment Management, a consumer product oriented hedge fund and Silverpoint Investments, focused on private equity and the development of consumer products. With a passion for philanthropy, Paul is also Founder and President of the Merage Foundations, which consists of four charitable organizations focused on children and educational initiatives.
Paul is a Trustee of the University of California, Irvine, and serves on the boards of the Orange County Performing Arts Center and the Pacific Symphony. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. Paul has more than 35 years of consumer products experience with 25 of those years as the entrepreneurial founder and CEO of Chef America, Inc., one of the 500 largest private companies in the United States, as ranked by Forbes magazine.
Dick Sim
Board of Advisors
Dick provides strategic planning and advice on current investment strategies and overall execution for Stoneridge Capital Partners. With an extensive background in real estate, Dick brings great insight and experience to Stoneridge’s Board, having retired in 2001 as Chairman of Investment Properties for The Irvine Company, the firm developing the nation’s largest master-planned urban environment on approximately 54,000 acres of land in Orange County, California. Dick oversaw five of The Irvine Company’s operating divisions and a financial division, which are responsible for the development, marketing and management of the The Irvine Company’s investment properties encompassing more than 30 million square feet of commercial properties. Dick was elected to The Irvine Company’s board of directors in 1993 and retired from the board in 2001.
Dick is active in public service and has received numerous awards, including the University of California, Irvine Medal, UCI’s highest award, for his efforts to build bridges between the business community and University of California, Irvine. For his role in developing The Irvine Spectrum and establishing reciprocal arrangements between University of California, Irvine and private businesses, Dick received the 1999 Citizen Leadership Award from the Council for Urban Economic Development. Dick received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Villanova University and has completed the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
W. William Gaboury
Board of Advisors
Bill provides strategic planning and advice on current investment strategies and overall execution for Stoneridge Capital Partners. Bill recently retired as President and CEO of Shea Properties, a leading commercial and residential investment company active in the Western United States. Under his leadership, Shea Properties’ portfolio value grew in 1984 from $150 million to more than $1.9 billion in 2005. Prior to joining Shea Properties, Bill was Vice President of Development for Avco Community Developers where he was responsible for the planning and development of the Laguna Niguel community located in Orange County, California.
Bill began his real estate career in 1971 after serving in the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer and has held executive level positions with developers throughout California and Colorado. He is on the board of the Laguna Playhouse and Keeping Kids on Track, a non-profit organization focused on helping at risk youth 10 to 16 years of age. Bill is also actively helping the Orange County YMCA build a new branch in Santa Ana, as well as on the board of J.I. Kislak Inc. of Miami. Bill received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
H. Lawrence Webb

Larry provides strategic planning and advice on current investment strategies and overall execution for Stoneridge Capital Partners. He is also the sole proprietor for The Webb Group providing high level real estate consulting services and is currently serving as the Co-Chief Restructuring Officer of LandSource, the largest residential lot bankruptcy in U.S. history.
Prior to forming The Webb Group, Larry was the CEO of WL Homes LLC, the second largest privately held homebuilding company in the nation, where he led an award-winning team that was responsible for 13 divisions in California, Colorado, Arizona and Texas doing business as John Laing Homes. Under Larry’s direction, WL Homes grew from $384 million in revenue during 1998 to more than $1.6 billion in 2006.
Known in the industry for his unique approach to marketing, Larry was inducted into the National Association of Home Builder’s (NAHB) “Legends of Residential Marketing” in 1999 by the National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC). In 2005, Larry was named the top winner of the “Hearthstone Builder National Lifetime Public Service Award” to recognize him for his demonstration of a lifetime of commitment to public and charitable services. Larry was also recognized in 2005 by the California Building Industry Foundation for his long-term advancement of the real estate industry and for his contributions to philanthropic organizations by being inducted into the 2005 Hall of Fame.
Larry received a Bachelor of Arts in History from State University of New York at Cortland and a Master in City and Regional Planning from Harvard University. With community contribution a passion of his, Larry donates hundreds of hours annually to Interval House, a home for abused women and children, and has served on its Board of Directors since 1990. Over the years, Webb and his staff teamed up with HomeAid to build homes for homeless families in need and he continues to serve on HomeAid America’s National Board. In addition, he has served on the Boards of the NSMC, Orange County Housing Authority and is a Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing.
Edwin D. Fuller
Board of Advisors
Ed provides strategic planning and advice on current investment strategies and overall execution for Stoneridge Capital Partners. He is President and Managing Director of International Lodging for Marriott International, Inc. Based in the company’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., he has overall operating responsibility for managed and franchised hotels spanning seven lodging brands and brand extensions outside the continental United States and Canada, which includes Hawaii and 68 countries in Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East and encompasses more than 350 hotels with annual gross sales exceeding $5.8 billion. Under Ed’s leadership, Marriott International’s presence outside the continental U.S. and Canada has grown from 16 properties in 1991 to its 250 properties today. The company’s international hotels lead in share in the majority of the markets in which they are located.
Ed is a trustee of the International Business Leaders Forum and serves as Director of the Board of the IBLF North America, chairs the Governing Council of the International Tourism Partnership, is Vice Chairman of the Board of United Way International and serves on the Pacific Area Travel Association Foundation Board and the Corporate Advisory Board of Safe Kids Worldwide. Ed attended Wake Forest University and is a 1968 graduate of Boston University. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program. He served in the U.S. Army as a captain in Germany and Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal.
